Freedom Calls: 24/8/26, “The answer is always... more!”

With apologies for the time that this is coming out… some early morning ferry logistics in Saint-Malo after a weekend of e-biking with friends around Brittany plays havoc with the orderly distribution of the Monday note!

The sales offsite

As offsite catering goes, sandwiches at Herm's Shell Beach cafe were not the biggest ticket item in last week's P&L, but sometimes location is really the only thing that matters.   Even for people who live in Guernsey, Herm is a little piece of magic, which allows the mind to think more creatively.  The sales team endured a more traditional few days of Guernsey summer weather, when you ask yourself questions like: (1) does anyone at the Met Office know how to forecast weather for small islands in the English Channel?, and (2) do I sunbathe with, or without, a jumper?

The gang: (L-R): Bill, Shawn, Alan, Adrian, Luke (intern), Amandine (intern), Sandrine, Bob and Charles.

But it was a lot of fun - and great to get the sales team together in one place instead of over Teams and Zoom.  Needless to say, Bill's toes again managed to evade those chilly, crystal clear waters… and yes, Shawn won at the golf!
